Overview

Precision Valley Communications is seeking a professional Employee Training Specialist to facilitate an effective training program for groups of newly hired Drafters and Designers. 

The Employee Training Specialist will primarily be remote but travel monthly or bimonthly for in person training sessions with new hires. 

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Deliver training to Live-in-Person and Web-Based audiences in a dynamic, energetic, personable, engaging, intelligent fashion
  • Facilitates the online and in-person training program for newly hired employees and ongoing educational needs for existing employees
  • Training delivery via Online Platform- ability to specify learning objectives and design experiences to meet those objectives
  • Training new hires in AutoCAD, Bentley, Katapult. Etc.
  • Create and Deliver technical training content to new hires in the telecommunications field
  • May audit work completed by newly trained technicians
  • May support hands-on utility locate training
  • Coordinate training dates and offerings
  • Remain current on existing and emerging learning methodologies and technologies
  • Work with subject matter experts and instructional design team to transform knowledge into learning solutions
  • Provide essential feedback to participants and utilize training to prepare employees for field work

Qualifications

  • Experience facilitating/teaching telecommunications design
  • Adapts easily to a rapidly changing environment with competing priorities.
  • Strong Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to project professionalism during instruction
  • Capable of managing online and in person classroom environments to optimize learning for all participants
  • Ability to learn new systems and software related to the role
  • Strong understanding of Google and Office Suites
