Telecommunications Engineer

Insight Global is looking for a Telecommunications Engineer to join a large health care client in New York City and Rye, NY. This telecom professional will be working on a team with two others and helping with different real estate projects by moving the telecom environment to different locations. We are looking for someone who has experience ensuring system improvement, efficiency, and standardization including deployment and maintenance of the client’s network platform. This person will design and support telecommunications infrastructure and its associated software, including VoIP call management systems, voice mail, and video conferencing systems. The hands on networking experience will include knowing how the network works, WAN set up, cisco configurations, mac and IP addresses, etc. They will be rolling out Cisco Unity, UCCX Call Center, and Cisco Voice, in addition to Wireless Access Points and Cisco hardware. We need someone who is a team player. Someone that is willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done, willing to take calls off hours (only if needed) and assist on helping with projects outside of their wheelhouse in order to help the team. We are looking for someone with great communication. They will need to be onsite multiple times a week and traveling to other sites in the tri-state area will be part of the role on occasion. This person must have a car but will be reimbursed for mileage. Also, if this individual lives in NYC and does not have a car but does have a driver’s license, they can use the company vehicle to get from location to location when needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $78,220.00 – $111,546.00 per year
