The Telecommunications Engineer will provide engineering and design services for Cellular, Public Safety Radio and Private LTE networks.
Responsibilities:
- Provide project scoping and detailed design for Cellular, Public Safety Radio Distributed Antenna Systems and Private LTE networks.
- Provide technical support and design engineering for system additions or enhancements at client sites.
- Perform site walk downs and develop project scopes of work and estimates to support business development activities.
- Stay current on DAS & Private LTE technology practices and principles of installations, monitoring and maintaining as well as other RF Transmissions Systems.
- Interface with the major wireless network operators and clients throughout the project life cycle.
Requirements:
- Prior experience with wireless network design is a plus.
- Experienced user of Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, Power Point).
- Understanding of Radio Frequency (RF) theory and concepts.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Travel to project sites is required.
Nice to Have:
- Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or University in Engineering or a related technology field.
- 3 – 5 years’ experience with design and integration support of wireless networks is preferred but not required.
- iBwave certification is preferred but not required.
- Experience with Sweep, PIM and CW testing and system troubleshooting is preferred but not required.
