In-House Fiber Splicers Needed in San Antionio, TX
Qualifications – Two years CWDM, DWDM, GPON, FTTP, Loose Tube and Ribbon Fiber, with OTDR and other Testing.
CAT5’s inhouse fiber splicer position involves the splicing of CWDM and DWDM circuits on GPON/ FTTP, architecture using loose tube and ribbon fiber. OTDR measurements and other testing is required. A complete understanding of cut sheets and splicing documentation is essential, as well as tracking and reporting.
Offered for this position are 2 choices of compensation. You may elect in-house hourly pay or production pay. All in-house candidates would utilize CAT5’s trucks, tools and equipment while receiving our full benefit package as outline below. This is year around, long term work for major telecommunications companies in the area.
