Double D Oil Field Services, LLC provides remote communications for drilling and production sites in ND, WY, UT, CO, NM and TX. Double D is also an approved vendor for the United States Forest Service, providing emergency communication services to spike camps and command posts for wild forest fires. We are currently looking to fill a position in the Midland/Odessa, TX area.
What we do:

  • Internet Networking – Provide WiFi/Lan Connectivity for Mobile Offices/Living quarters, sourcing LTE and Satellite services.
  • Cellular Boosting – Boost Cell signal in Mobile Offices/Living quarters as well as entire work sites with Crown Boosting technology.
  • Phone Line – Set-up IP phones for dial-out connectivity in Mobile Offices.
  • Wireless Intercom Systems – Set-up wireless intercom systems on remote drilling/production sites.
  • Camera Systems – Install monitoring systems to improve operation visibility to customers.

Rig-ups and rig-downs consist of mounting antennas, running coax cable, mounting and dismounting networking equipment.
We remotely monitor and trouble-shoot systems, but sometimes may need to deploy in order to change-out a phone or internet device.
Rig moves consist of lowering, then raising antennas and dialing in signal strength and quality for boosters and internet modems.
There is a considerable amount of driving involved, as most locations are significant distances apart. Our service trucks are Super-Crew Ford F150’s.

Qualifications:

  • Dedication to superior Customer Service
  • Great work ethic and the ability to be self-motivated while working alone.
  • A Pre-Employment drug screen must be passed along with periodic random tests throughout the year.
  • 1-2 years experience in oilfield work, preferably on drilling rigs.
  • 1-2 years of IT or networking experience.
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Competent with use of hand tools
  • Must be proficient in working with basic telecommunication systems and devices such as routers and modems.
  • Must have and maintain a good driving record to the standards of the company’s insurance requirements.
  • Safely and competently travel to work sites in adverse weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $4,200.00 – $6,000.00 per month
