Telecommunications Foreman

Western Steel Erectors LLC based out of Eagle, Idaho is looking for a highly motivated and skilled Telecommunications Foreman to run a crew of 2-3. The Foreman will have knowledge and understanding of all projects in the wireless industry including installation, maintenance, testing and troubleshooting equipment. The Foreman will be expected to lead, train and mentor a crew of 2-3 to complete the work safely and effectively, accurately understand the telecommunications SOW, and effectively complete the closeout procedures in a timely manner and with minimal guidance.

-Installs or repairs cables or wires used in electrical power or distribution systems.

-Climbing and working on communication towers for the purpose of installing, replacing and repairing antenna systems equipment. Performs tower maintenance under close supervision.

-Advanced use and care of hand tools and mechanical equipment.

-Knowing the hazards associated with tower climbing, construction equipment, and working on or near lines and equipment.

-The ability to climb tall structures (100 feet or more) with a 50 lb. Load.

-Analyzing situations accurately and adopt an appropriate course of action.

-Communicating orally and in writing in English.

-Following instructions accurately and complete assigned course of action.

-Recognizing safety hazards and performing duties in a safe manner.

-Work without supervision leading a crew of 2-3.

-Maintain daily paperwork required for the site and the crew.

-Implement and follow through with job instruction provided by leadership.

-Ensure safety and quality control requirements at your sites and with your crew.

-Compile all site specific closeout documentation for your work effort.

-Upload closeout documentation to customer interfaces.

-Coordinate with customer representative for site related activities and maintain a good working relationship with customer representative.

-Provide leadership, guidance and actively train/promote learning to all crew members.

-Maintain equipment and vehicles in operational condition at all times.

-Other duties as assigned.

-Travel to job sites as required.

-Valid drivers license.

Salary DOE Between $21-$35/Hr

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 – $35.00 per hour
