Telecommunications Lineman

Oliver Construction Enterprises is looking for an experienced lineman. Someone that can safely and adequately perform all necessary tasks of Aerial and Underground fiber optic cable installations. We work with all aspects of telecommunications and we are looking to add to our team. We pride ourselves on quality installations, and customer relationships. Must be well rounded and in good physical condition.

Valid drivers license and social security number required

Must be drug free. We participate in a random drug screening program.

Salary is determined by skill and experience. This field of work provides many overtime opportunities.

A days work could consist of any of the following;

Framing and Stranding Poles

Placing and Lashing Aerial Fiber

Rodding Conduits

Working in manholes/confined space

Installing underground innerduct/fiber

Working with our Directional Drilling team

Excavation

Inside fiber installations

Fiber Maintenance

Pole transfers

EMERGENCY REPAIRS- This job provides many overtime opportunities. We will need someone reliable to assist with getting services back up and running. (Yes, nights and weekends if we are called out.)

Expected to report to shop everyday on time. Work starts at 7am, employees expected to arrive by 6:45am. A regular work day typically ends at 3:30.

Company vehicles will be used to travel to all job sites. Our company provides services to New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania and Maryland areas.

Pay: $35,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
