Telecommunications Manager

Encore Technologies is seeking a Telecommunications Manager to work for a client in Cincinnati, OH. This is a Direct Hire role that will be worked in a hybrid environment, with 2-3 days a week worked on-site.

Qualified candidates must be vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and manage staff and overall IT communications/telecommunications operations to ensure a stable and efficient telecom and network infrastructure.
• Assess organizational data, voice, and video communication needs, proposing appropriate technologies and services to enable the enterprise to meet tactical and strategic objectives
• Develop and communicate the necessary direction and policy for enterprise standards
• Provide customer and solution focused management of complex projects and multiple vendors, users, support staff, and organizations
• Manage a staff of network and telecom engineers for the enterprise networks, local telephone service, phone systems (primarily VoIP with some PBX), voice mail, cellular service, and video infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Must be familiar with network topologies & equipment, telecommunications, VoIP, Video, and cabling systems
• Must possess strong communication skills, being able to communicate effectively across the organization
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 4-5 years Management Information Systems management experience with telecom and related network experience
• 5+ years network and telecommunications technical experience
• Background in telecom and related network technologies
• This position is a leader position and is focused on the management of the telecommunications infrastructure, working closely with the network manager and other IS leaders
• CCNP, CCDP or CCNA certification preferred

Pay: $130,000.00 – $160,000.00 per year

License/Certification:

• CCNA, CCNP, or CCDP (Preferred)
