Our client, a Global 100 telecommunications provider who manages integrated fixed, mobile and IT services to some of the world’s top multinational organization is in search of a Telecommunications Network Engineer for their Jacksonville location. This organization is well known around the world and provides a wide range of services to their reputable clients. These services include providing carriers and corporations international voice, IP, bandwidth capacity, satellite services, mobility and global solutions.
About the Job
As the Telecommunications Network Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining (capacity and data) at the Jacksonville Landing Station. This maintenance involves coordinating with the NOC and other operating centers to ensure equipment is functional. Additional responsibilities include:
– Supervision and control of the activities carried out by suppliers in the building.
– Supervise the land cable route between the station and the sea daily, to ensure that there are no risks of service interruption.
– Install telecom equipment, when required, such as racks, frames, shelves, cards, etc, using the appropriate tools and PPE.
Experience Needed
Qualified candidates must have previous experience in the Telecommunications field. Must be Bilingual (English/Spanish), Knowledge of DWDM software and fiber optic submarine cables is a plus and will be a game changer for our client!
Schedule – Monday through Friday, 8AM – 5PM and one week on call including overtime!
Salary: $31.00 per hour
