Job Description:
At Regions, the Telecommunications Network Engineer works with members of the Network Operations team to provide production support and highest level troubleshooting.

Primary Responsibilities

Interfaces with vendors, Regions Supports Groups, Technology Change Review Board, end users and business segments

Plans, monitors and evaluates performance of network systems and makes recommendations for improvement/upgrades

Assists in developing technical standards and application interface

Provides technical assistance and resolution for network problems

Conducts highly complex work with autonomy and extensive latitude for independent judgement

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field and five (5) years of related work experience

Or High School Diploma or GED and nine (9) years of experience

Preferences

Bachelor’s degree

Cisco certified

Experience in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting a large, multi-protocol, LAN/WAN environment

Experience with network monitoring, network analysis, network quality of service, and/or multimedia over LAN/WAN

Skills and Competencies

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Visio

Strong organizational and communications skills

Ideal candidate will be an experienced network engineer with significant experience in automation and cloud.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the national range and level of the position.

Job Range Target:
Minimum: $76,237.50 USD

Median: $127,400.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans: This job is not incentive eligible.
