Telecommunications Project Manager

Must Haves:

• 3-5 years’ experience within telecom industry/project management (detailed permitting project management is a must)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple (thousands) projects simultaneously – tracking project status, comprehensive data analysis, reporting, scheduling,
• Demonstrate effective program strategy and time management skills
• Strong leadership and team development qualities – understanding team dynamics, personality management, growth mindset
• Conflict resolution skills (i.e. work through team frustrations and lead others to feel good about a unified conclusion)

Plusses:

• OSP Fiber experience preferred
• Experiencing driving projects across construction and operations teams

Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Project Manager to join in a long term contract opportunity. The Project Manager will play a vital role in driving project plans across Engineering teams and w/ permitting stakeholders. The successful candidate should not only possess the business sense necessary to streamline successful project execution but demonstrate the ability to lead, motivate, and develop employees to foster a unified team environment. Daily responsibilities may include-

• Project manage all facets of a project’s lifecycle (planning, initiating, executing, monitoring/controlling, and closing)
• Develop reports to reflect the health and status of projects from a budget, technical, and schedule standpoint
• Assist in the development of project proposals, planning, decision making, risk assessment and execution of large projects. (critical – must have seasoned experience)
• Responsible for forecasting estimated delivery dates and communicating FOC (firm order commitment) dates to customers utilizing project management software and Excel project tracking tools. (e.g., initial forecast, updated forecast, and committed customer due date).

Job Types: Contract, Full-time

Pay: $40.00 – $50.00 per hour
