We are seeking a Compliance Project Manager for a Mississippi telecommunications company. The major function is to plan, manage and oversee telecommunications projects to ensure they are completed timely, within budget and in compliance with funding requirements. In this role, you will be the Compliance Lead and will be responsible for communicating with all funding entities, operations, financial and other departments.
Job duties:
· Assist in defining project scope, determine available resources, set time estimates, and evaluate team capabilities
· Review and respond to grant document requirements within deadlines
· Assist in creating a clear and concise plan to implement the project and monitor progress
· Provide reports to management on projects’ progress
· Provide all reporting to the compliance entity.
· Reporting of budget to actual, analyzing invoices to agreements, review of all documentation of the project
· Maintain organized electronic files supporting each project
· Create and adjust policies and procedures to document and improve efficiencies in the construction and customer turn up process
· Set expectations and drive engagement to meet all required deadlines
· Establish deadlines and communicate consistently to all teams and monitor progress
· Monitor and analyze team performance and suggest corrective measures
· Present comprehensive reports documenting all proje65000ct requirements fulfilled, and the project history, including what was accomplished, parties involved, and suggested improvements moving forward
· Establish deadlines, set expectations, and monitor progress to meet deadlines
· Identify and evaluate potential risks before project begins; avoid or minimize risk
Job Qualifications:
· Four-year college degree in accounting, business, or related field
· 2+ years of Project Management experience with audit or regulatory experience
· PMP Certification preferred
· Superior communication skills with ability to make presentations
· Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
· Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, strong written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical (including evaluation of large data files) and problem-solving skills
· Proven ability to comprehend and respond to complex grant documents.
· Ability to manage multiple grant processes across multiple states
· Ability to work independently as well as part of a dynamic, cross-functional, and distributed team, and successfully address multiple priorities and stakeholders concurrently
Compensation
· $65-100K DOE
