Telecommunications Project Manager

Title: Telecommunications Project Manager
Location: Sunnyvale CA 94089
Duration: 12 Months contract

Position Description:

• Analyze and communicate future technology options and cost implications.
• Work directly with the Corp-Telephony Program Managers to develop short and long-term strategies and roadmaps for our technologies
• Develop maintenance schedules for legacy equipment and a robust intake and review process for future upgrades
• Develop a monitoring process that the vendor teams can operationalize to ensure health and oversight of our infrastructure and systems
• Act as the technical decision maker for all project requests, supporting the CT Program Managers in managing the intake and work queues effectively based on approved requirements.
• Review existing technology and advise on any technical gaps and issues to Program Managers and vendor teams
• Must have a direct working knowledge of major carrier technologies/ solutions and operations
• Travel to as needed to support the work, up to 10% travel

Mandatory-

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or relevant and practical work experience with mobile operations and in building cellular solutions.
• Robust knowledge of the technology surrounding cellular signals and in-building solutions for cellular signals

• 7 years of relevant experience in mobile technology-related fields covering.
• Experience in future state technologies related to in-building cellular solutions.
• Experience with civil engineering projects relating to the in-building cellular enhancement and the construction variables related to the service.
• Experience working with mobile carriers’ operational project teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• ability to translate deeply technical concepts for general audiences to understand Ability to work independently and in ambiguity.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $100.00 – $150.00 per hour
