Telecommunications Provisioning Coordinator

Overview
The Telecommunications Provisioning Coordinator is responsible for the planning, coordination, and
implementation of services (communication lines, demarcation plans, low voltage and more) for new and existing retail locations throughout the continental United States.
Serving on a specialized team, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication and
presentation skills, be highly confident making decisions, and work with cross functional teams in a business-like manner.
Primary Responsibilities
- Working with preferred providers, coordinates the provisioning of Telecommunications services for various locations throughout the continental U.S.
- Ability to interpret and understand standard construction drawings including Electrical, Communications, and some degree of structural. Provide feedback, recommend adjustments and follow-up ensuring cabled infrastructure and associated components are deployed meeting specifications
- Conducts site surveys, coordinates with other departments and organizations to plan and implement new or upgraded facilities

- Participate in and provide off hours support
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel, Visio
- Highly organized with the ability to lead small to mid-sized projects
- Valid Driver’s License issued by the state of Oklahoma or ability to obtain within a reasonable time-frame
- Reliable, personal transportation
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge:
- Telecommunication industry best practices
- LAN and WAN computing networks
- Ability to interpret and understand Building plans
Experience:
- 2+ years relevant Telecommunications systems experience
- Extensive troubleshooting, Root Cause Analysis and performance monitoring
Physical Requirements
- Occasional lifting of objects up to 20 lbs.
- Work is primarily performed in a standard office environment
- Subject to sitting, walking, standing, bending
- Extensive time will be spent on the phone, using a personal computer and reading both electronic and hard copy materials
Education
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Telecommunications, Computer Science or related discipline desired (a combination of training, work experience and education may be considered)
