Telecommunications RCDD/Consultant

Polysonics is seeking a Telecommunication Design Consultant. This position involves the design and commissioning of IT infrastructure for a wide variety of projects such as schools, churches, conference rooms and government buildings.

Requirements include:

3 – 5 years minimum direct IT infrastructure design experience. Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude in a fast paced and high-pressure environment with excellent attention to detail and focus on quality is also needed. Must be organized and be able to effectively manage your time and client expectations. Experience in AV and low volt systems a plus. Candidate should be working toward RCDD Certification and be able to obtain certification within 2 years.

Must be proficient in MS Office and experience with Blue Beam is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform work on multiple projects within the budgeted cost and to the satisfaction of the client. Be able to efficiently design systems to meet the needs of our clients, using proven technology and also looking for new and interesting solutions to problems. Perform on-site commissioning. Produce technical information and engineering documentation as specified in line with the company Standards for internal use, clients and external contractors.
