The Telecommunications Shelter Quality Inspector will be responsible for inspecting, documenting, repairing, and analyzing the quality of all shelter/cabinet installations including placement of shelter/cabinet equipment including power, radios, RAN, routers, and all other equipment and cabling.
Role and Responsibilities
- Inspect cell site equipment and cabling to verify industry standards are implemented
- Audit close out packages for completeness and accuracy
- Audit cell site equipment inventory for accuracy
- Document and perform repairs when necessary
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Maintain safety procedures and inspect equipment and tools before use
- Company vehicle provided and will be expected to follow company vehicle use policy
- Ability to work outside and withstand varied inclement weather conditions
- Ability to perform the essential job functions safely and successfully
- Ability to meet quality and measurable productivity standards.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or Engineering Degree, equivalent experience in lieu of education will be considered
- Minimum 5 years within the wireless telecommunications industry, working within site shelters
- Pay rate directly based on experience and education
- Current or ability to complete certification in OSHA 10, OSHA 30, CPR and First Aid
- Experience with proper shelter equipment installation of DC power, radios, RAN equipment, routers, and all other equipment along with cabling and lacing.
- Ericsson experience preferred
- Must be able to read CD’s, RFDS, and TED’s to install as required or redline if needed
- Must be able to complete full closeouts including electronic documentation and photos.
- Daily progress reports required
- Proficient computer skills with MS Office, Adobe PDF’s, and data base systems
- Have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving history for the past 3 to 5 years
- Ability to pass pre-employment checks. Including drug screen, criminal background, and MVR.
- Must have the ability to travel 50 to 75% of the work week
- Minimal overnight stays required.
- Will be working as a team in a regional area close to home area
- Mandatory to maintain regular, punctual attendance every workday
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively

Anticipated pay range between $28 and $35 per hour. The actual offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and industry experience.
