Telecommunications Specialist

Robert Half is searching for a Sr. Telecommunications Analyst to lead all activities related to planning, installation, operation, maintenance of Telecommunications equipment, system installations and upgrades at our client’s Worcester, MA location. This is a permanent, direct hire, hybrid role that can be on-site 2 days per week and 3 days remote. Apply today to learn more!

What you’ll get to do every day:
Ensure all Telecommunications services (e.g., Enterprise VoIP Phone system, Call Accounting system, Voice Mail, ACD, Conference Bridge, etc.) are functioning at the highest levels

Develop and maintain a working level understanding of the needs of all Call Center Customers

Takes a role in leading the Telecommunications department

Escalate problems as appropriate while maintaining ownership of issues

Serve as escalation point and mentor junior telecom analysts

We are looking for candidate with the following education and skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication, or equivalent

Working knowledge of all aspects with installation, maintenance, functionality, hardware, design, as well as programming of analog, digital and VoIP PBX’s

Proven ability to Project Manage new telephony service installations and upgrades of existing services

Familiarity with Data Communication standards, applications, electrical and physical interfaces

Effective verbal and written communication

VoIP, PBXs, Telephony System, Project Management, TeleCommunication System, Avaya
