About the Role
Fenix Group is looking for a Telecommunication Specialist to join a highly collaborative, multi-disciplined team in support of the U.S. Government, and provide technical subject matter expertise.

• Required Clearance: TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (active)
• This role will provide technical subject matter expertise in the field of radio frequency (RF) communications – specifically RF Propagation.
• While acting as the liaison between technical and operational Customer groups, this role will help facilitate discussions with vendor’s capabilities, design and options to provide Customer with recommendations.
• Demonstrated ability to convey technical designs and results, while applying the engineering design process to discover innovative methods, and meet client requirements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of established experience
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in an IT related field; Engineering preferred.
• Strong SATCOM skillset
• Must be familiar with Type 1 and Commercial encryption.
• Must possess functional knowledge of both Government and commercial black transport resources traditionally leveraged for beyond-line-of-sight radio communications.
• This role requires a level of working knowledge with standard practices and the installation of RF systems, to include Coax, Ethernet and wiring.
