Telecommunications Specialist

ABSS Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Telecommunications Engineer Level II in support of VoIP/Network Infrastructure Service Delivery for the Bureau of Census. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting telecommunication circuits – WAN, Voice, Fiber. Assisting in working with the service provider to resolve telecommunication issues. Managing the enterprise telecommunication circuit inventory. The creation of and maintaining proper configuration management as it pertains to telecommunication services – Configuration documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), End to end circuit diagrams.

The candidate will also perform daily health checks and monitoring for the load balancer infrastructure. Provide weekly performance metrics. Adhere to the GSA telecommunication vehicles – Networx, Washington Interagency Telecommunications Systems (WITS), Telecommunication Ordering and Pricing Systems (TOPS), Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions (EIS), Government approved vehicles. Qualifications:

• B.S. in Computer Science or Systems Engineering, certification from a technical training or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Experience in Contact Center/Cisco Unified Communications applications
• Cisco Jabber
• Cisco Call center Manager
• Cisco Finesse
• Creating and Managing accounts.
• Supporting survey scripts, IVR survey scripts and SIP Environments
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Ability to work independently
• Candidates with experience using Remedy ticketing system are preferred
• Public Trust Clearance (or ability to attain it)

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $76,968.00 – $82,816.00 per year
