Full Job Description

Summary

Low Voltage electricians needed.

Low Voltage technician/journeyman as well as apprentices needed.

Technician will be responsible for installation and maintenance of commercial low-voltage systems including but not limited to data networks, telecommunications systems, fiber optic and Wi-Fi networks. The preferred candidate should possess excellent Customer Service skills and have the highest sense of care for Safety as the number one value regarding all functional aspects of this business. Candidate should be able to work with minimal supervision. This position will require limited out of area travel and the ability to work overtime.

Duties/Responsibilities

· Provide on-site and remote customer support

· Connect and set up hardware

· The preferred candidate will be able to troubleshoot and repair system failures in a timely manner.

· Represents the company in a variety of internal/external settings.

· Establishes inter/intra positive team oriented working relationships.

· Keeps up with the standards of industry knowledge and applications in order to maintain business proficiency.

· Ensures compliance with all applicable governing laws.

Education: 2 years equivalent work-related experience in commercial/industrial technical service team with Smart Building Technology, Life Safety Systems and Facilities Management experience highly preferred. Licensing and certifications relative to the industry (i.e. NICET, CPMM, FMA or equivalent), or other similar business and managerial experience will be considered on a case by case basis.
