Wirecomm Systems (2008) Inc., a UniTek Global Services Company, provides, cable installation, maintenance, splicing, sweep, certification, balancing, disconnect and customer service to the evolving cable television and Phone industry in Canada. Other services include system activation and rebuilds, service and maintenance, MDU services, underground drop burials, ATX and other security Camera services as well as Home Theatre and cellular service installations.

Wirecomm is the second-largest fulfillment contractor to Canada’s largest cable television/phone service provider. Wirecomm delivers wireless communications, Next Generation business solutions, digital cable and Internet services to millions of households in Ontario.

We are looking for candidates who are interested in being trained to work in a Hybrid Fibre, Coaxial and Telephony network. Wirecomm is the fastest growing Installation and Service contractor in the GTA and we are looking for motivated individuals who want to start a career in this advanced field. If you do not have Industry related experience, but feel that this role will best suit your character and you are a fast learner feel free to apply. Do you have previous fiber, cable, phone, alarm, satellite or security installation experience? You may be fast tracked through the training. Job Duties:

• Service and trouble-shoot cable/phone products

• Detect and repair ingress/egress faults inside and outside a customer’s home

• Ensure all troubleshooting work is done according to quality standards

• Follow all company policies and procedures

• Adhere to safety policy

• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Individuals need to have an electronics background and provide proof. All others will not be considered for this position
• Daily responsibilities involve climbing a ladder (28 ft) as needed

• Valid driver’s license (G) (Ontario)
• Clean Driver’s Abstract
• Great Communication Skills

• Working knowledge of Computers / Tablets

• The ideal candidate will live within a 30-50 km radius of our office

• Very Good customer service and presentation skills are a must
• Highly motivated individuals only
• Safety focused individuals only

• Should be fully vaccinated

• Must be able to provide proof of recent driver’s abstract and criminal background check (90 days)
• Able to lift and manipulate a 75lb. Ladder.
• Work in all kinds of weather conditions.

Salary: $29.00 to $34.00 per hour depending on experience
