Telecommunications Technician – Needs Car

One of our large healthcare clients is looking for a Telecom Technician to join their team! **This person MUST have a car and is open to traveling short distances throughout the 5 day work week as needed.** Below is a brief list of job responsibilities:

  • Perform CUCM tasks include configuring SIP and Jabber devices, line appearances for directory numbers, CSS for dial plans, device pools, partitions
  • Caller id masking, set recording lines for built-in-bridge on devices, migrate device types using SIP migration tools and voicemail profiles for end users
  • Create Cisco Unity Connections for integrated and non-integrated AD voicemail accounts
  • Troubleshoot PSTN Connectivity and DHCP and voice vlan issues over Avaya POE switches -Test DID inbound/outbound dialing to all endpoints
  • Migrate phones from PBX systems to UCC VOIP -Serve as primary on routine support tickets
  • Coordinate and deploy VOIP and analog endpoints
  • Communicate with customers on installation for service; turn on, discontinue, add, change or delete service; and address other service related issues
  • Verify accuracy and completeness of all new customer orders; enter orders into ticketing system with a high degree of accuracy; provide technical support to customers; verify service needs and manage order changes
  • Properly document in ticketing software both call purpose and resolution
  • Assist with orders through all installation milestones to completion, ensuring all ordered services are activated and exceed Customer expectations

Qualifications:

1+ years experience in telecom tech support OR related degree in IT Working knowledge of LAN/WAN, Internet and VoIP technologies Experience with one or all of the following:

  • Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM)
  • Cisco Unity Connection
  • Cisco Jabber and Extension Mobility

**Has a car & can commute 5 days a week to hospital locations in Northeast Philadelphia**

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.00 – $31.00 per hour
