About The Role

Due to the continued success and expansion of Morrison Telecom Services we have an exciting opportunity for a Telecommunications Trainer to be part of our Training and Accreditation Team in the UK.

Morrison Telecom Services operates in the fixed line telecommunications market offering a full life cycle of survey, design, build and maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure. We continue to support Openreach with their implementation of a full fibre network through large scale roll outs of network build and maintenance activities including Next Generation Access technology, G.Fast, Fibre to the Cabinet (FTTC) and Fibre to the Premise (FTTP) solutions.

The role & responsibilities:

This role will manage a wide range of quality assurance through training, coaching, and completing assessments of industry qualifications/accreditations. Focusing on FTTP Service Delivery

You will:

  • Train and coach individuals in the correct methodologies for workmanship to the point of accreditation
  • Work with industry and our clients to ensure you are up to speed with the latest training and accreditations required for the work
  • Ensure that the products and services we deliver for our clients conform to the specified requirements and agreed standards
  • Advise suitable corrective and preventive action following the identification of any quality issues
  • Represent as required for customer meetings ensuring customers and company’s quality standards are understood and implemented accordingly
  • Ensure the provision of a safe and secure working environment in keeping with company policy and procedure as well as any legal requirements
  • Provide support to installation whenever clarifications of methods and/or procedures are required.

What we need from you.

  • Experience of working across the telecommunications industry within the Service Delivery role
  • Must have a range of existing telecommunications accreditations
  • Experience in training and/or assessing within Telecommunications Industry
  • Training/Assessing Qualifications desirable
  • NRSWA supervisor qualifications desirable
  • Overview and good knowledge of the telecommunication industry fixed and mobile
