Due to ongoing business growth, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Telco Pre-Sales to support our busy service team.
The focus of the role is to influence and understand the client technical requirements and use the current product and service portfolio to support the sales and account management teams. The role will be responsible for client scoping, design and development through to handover of a project.
Role Responsibilities
- Customer engagement
- Support sales team with technical ownership
- Solution design for our Telecoms and IT clients
- Ensure handover to delivery team with necessary documentation, support and sign off to start a project.
- Act as the link between technical, sales and operations during the pre-sales and bid process.
- Have a good understanding of different product solutions to cater for customer needs
- Provide excellent technical support for customer demonstrations, trials and opportunities.
- Ability to develop and deliver presentations on integrated solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support account management team in sales meetings and client presentations.
- Join up multiple elements into a single solution and articulate the benefits.
- Respond to technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
- Convey customer requirements into valid solution
Skills & Experience:
- Experience within a pre-sales role within telecommunications industry
- Understand wide area networking and carrier technologies (MPLS, SD-WAN, SIP Trunking)
- An understanding of deployment models; On-Premise, Hosted, Cloud and Hybrid.
- An understanding of Unified Communications including PBX and Hosted telephony.
- IP Networking and Security
- Strong network design and architecture skills
- Confident in a client facing role giving presentations and holding conference calls
- Strong understanding of telecommunications products and services
- Strong verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritise/manage workload and the ability to work in a dynamic fast paced environment.
- Highly organised, process driven and aptitude for learning.
