Telecoms Specialist, Telecoms Architect

This assignment has been deemed OUTSIDE OF IR35.
Hybrid working – 3 days per week on site in Bristol.

Telecoms Specialist required for a leading business based in Bristol. The successful candidate will be required to support the Network Specialist provide expert input to the UKTIN Telecoms R&D Future Capability Strategic/Leadership Forum.

You will provide research, reports and insights on emerging trends in state-of-the-art telecommunication networks such as mobile networks and specifically 5G, but also optical and satellite communications systems.

You will also support the UKTIN Telecoms R&D Future Capability Strategic/Leadership Forum with knowledge of telecoms technologies and standards, telecom engineering skills and Knowledge of the telecoms market and specifically the UK ecosystem.

• Knowledge of state-of-the-art telecommunication networks – preferably mobile networks and specifically 5G but also good awareness of other technology domains such as optical and satellite communications systems.
• Previous experience in the telecommunications sector
• Good knowledge of telecoms technologies and standards
• Proven telecom engineering skills and expertise
• Knowledge of the telecoms market and specifically the UK ecosystem
• Effective communicator
• Proven ability in delivering telecoms R&D
• Experience in writing technical reports and/or research papers
