A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Test Facility Specialist, you will be at the heart of successful aero-derivativegas turbine testing. You will be working closely with engineering, testers, DAS(data acquisition system) department and various sub-contractors.

This opportunity will broaden your knowledge on operating a gas turbine,its architecture, and its auxiliary systems. You will be responsible ofelectrical and mechanical systems, the software, the instrumentations, andmetrology requirements.

You will join forces to investigate and resolve facility system issuesduring tests as well as leading the facility maintenance and upgrades programs.

Your profile :

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical orTechnical certification
• Member of Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec, an asset
• At least 10 years of relevant experience onmechanical, electrical, controls hardware and software, instrumentation, andproject management.
• Excellent communication skills, presentation andwriting skills
• Autonomous and pro-active
• Collaborative approach and team player
• French and English proficiency

Your responsibilities:

• Technical projectlead for test facility upgrade
• Investigate andresolve test facility issues
• Technical Supportand adviser to the testing team
• Ensures test facilityreadiness by monitoring the overall maintenance, calibration, EHS status
• Plans andprocures test facility spares
• Producingelectrical schematics, P&ID’s, drawings, as required
• Major input forannual OPEX budget
• Software maintenance : DAS, PCS, calibration etc.
• Responsible forTest facility Systems and instrumentations
