Job Description

Tower climber/Tower technician/Tower technician apprentice: We are looking for individuals with experience in the tower construction industry as well as those with recreation climbing experience or just an interest in climbing professionally. If you have an eagerness to learn we can train you. Competitive wage and benefit package including health insurance, 401(k), paid holidays and vacation.

Responsibilities

All facets of cell site construction, including:

-Tower climbing and man-basket work

-General knowledge of hand tools

-Willingness to work as a 2-3 member team to construct, upgrade and maintain all types wireless facilities including indoor/outdoor DAS (distributed antenna systems), cell tower, small cells, etc.

-Some travel required, primarily in Idaho.

Training:

We offer in-house/on-the-job support and training including:

-Climbing/tower rescue, RF safety, manlift operation, OSHA 10 hour, first aid and CPR.

-Tower mounted equipment installation: antennas, microwave dishes, radios, etc.

-Cabling/fiber optic transmission line installation and testing

-Troubleshooting and repairs of antenna systems

Qualifications

-Willingness to climb towers; we are seeking individuals who enjoy the thrill of working at heights of 60-200+ feet.

-Attention to and willingness to share our focus on safety.

-Knowledge of sweep testing, PIM testing, fiber testing are a plus, but not required.

-Certifications of training and a resume of prior experience are a plus, but not required.
