Tower Rigger / Telecom Worker

TRK Connect is a telecommunications construction company based in Langley, BC. We specialize in network development, wireless solutions; cell site builds such as in-building, rooftop installations, cell tower construction as well as other applications throughout the Province of BC.

Requirements:

• High school or equivalent completion, English communication
• The ability to manage a physically challenging workload.
• Willingness/availability to work overtime and/or weekends and travel out of town
• Must be able to work in a team environment, supervisory / team lead experience is an asset
• Construction experience
• Clean criminal background check

Beneficial Attributes:

• Trades minded and mechanically competent
• Strong problem solving and organizational skills.
• Some understanding of and experience with telecommunications equipment, cables and hardware
• Climbing/rescue training and basic first aid training is an asset
• Experience in rope access is preferred

Duties:

• Rooftop cell site construction / upgrades
• Removal and/or installation of telecommunications mounting structures, equipment, antennas, TX-lines, cables and associated hardware
• Climb and work aloft existing towers up to 400 feet
• Rope access on buildings for telecommunication equipment
• Maintenance, testing and repair of towers, equipment, cables and hardware
• Inspect and test transmission lines, locate faults and analyze and record test results
• Erect telecommunications tower components using cables, ropes, pulleys and other equipment

Salary: $22.00-$40.00 per hour
