Tower Tech – Lead

Dyros Inc. is hiring full-time permanent Tower Technician Lead to install, upgrade, and maintain wireless communication structures and equipment for the IL and WI markets.

Responsibilities:

· Maintain and enforce safe working practices during all tower top activities

· Take and follow direction from Foreman

· Efficiently direct top hand in equipment installation and rigging procedures

· Effectively communicate issues and progress to foreman

· Assist Foreman with testing and troubleshooting activities

· Maintain quality workmanship according to current customer standards

Duties:

• Safely and efficiently work in an aerial environment
• Install and maintain telecommunication equipment on towers
• Construct new communication towers
• Perform testing on fiber optic and RF cable systems

Qualifications:

· Previous experience working at elevation.

· At least 5 years of industry experience preferred.

· Demonstrated expertise in construction skills, rigging, safety and general industry knowledge.

• Experience with antenna, fiber optic cabling, coax, and radio & microwave installations.
• Experience with RF and fiber optic test equipment
• Climbing/rescue training and basic first aid training is preferred.
• TTT 1 Certification preferred.

· Organizational, computer and communication skills.

· Must be able to read and interpret site plans, construction drawings and scopes of work.

· Recognize and provide a safe work site with acceptable quality and efficiency.

· Present professional image at all times.

Pay: $28.00 – $32.00 per hour
