Tower Technician

Tower Technician -Immediate hire for tower technicians. Setting high standards of performance for self and others; assuming responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments or tasks. Tower Technician must be a team player, with an ability to develop and use collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals.

Requirements:

-Must have 1+ year tower and climbing experience

Duties and Responsibilities of Tower Technician:

-Responsible for the operation, maintenance and installation of telecommunication systems.

– Complete assigned tasks independently in accordance with overall project objectives and requirements.

-Knowledge of sector/antenna configurations with respect to jumper and coax routing, RET cabling and cabling and fiber routing.

-Ability to PIM test or Sweep

-Testing and working with Fiber

-GSM, UMTS, Carrier Adds, and LTE; Small cell experience is a plus

-Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, regulations, instruction manuals, blueprints and specifications.

Physical Requirements of Tower Technician:

• Must follow company policy and procedures.

• Must be willing to travel within the state.

• Must be able to work independently and as a team member to achieve goals and objectives of the company.

• Must be able to climb and work at heights.

• Maintain and take care of company property and tools.

• Attention to detail and safety a must.

• At least 2 years’ experience in the telecommunications/wireless industry preferred but willing to train a motivated individual.

• You will be required to certify in Climbing/Fall Protection and OSHA Safety.

• Valid Driver’s License (CDL a Plus). Must pass drug tests, background check and have a clean driving record.

Tower Lead/Top Hand: Immediate hire for Tower lead/Top hand. Fully grasp all aspects of initial training (TTI, TTII, TTIII). Tower lead/Top hand will possess leadership skills to direct all top side activities. Back up tower foreman when on the ground. Have a solid understanding of color coding, weatherproofing, grounding, etc.

-Assist foreman in identifying change orders, obstacles, and safety concerns that may impede SOW timeline.

Tower Foreman: Immediate hire for tower foreman. Run all aspects of the site and be responsible for maintaining full control of their crew. Tower foreman will work with the tower lead to strategize the complete site build. Will identify change orders, possible obstacles and safety concerns which may impede timely completion of site work. Will work with the supervisor to ensure that the site build is effectively completed on time.

Requirements:

-Must have 4+ years tower and climbing experience

Duties and Responsibilities of Tower Foreman:

-Responsible for the operation, maintenance and installation of telecommunication systems.

-Complete forms and appropriate documentation accurately

-Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, regulations, instruction manuals, blueprints and specifications.

-Develop and plan complete site build and share ultimate responsibility for quality of scope of work.

-Have extensive knowledge in the wireless industry to ensure timely completion of site start to finish.

-Lead by example and work as a team with your crew
