Tower Technician

Sterling Telecommunications is a general contractor specializing in wireless construction in the greater Puget Sound area. We are a safety and quality focused company seeking a like-minded individual to fill the position of Tower Technician.

An ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:

• ComTrain or equivalent certification
• Multiple years of tower climbing experience
• Experience preferred working with all carriers (specifically Verizon and T-Mobile)
• Good knowledge of proper rigging techniques
• A good understanding of antenna installation, TMAs, diplexers, RRUs, coax & fiber mainlines, coax & fiber jumpers, connectors, proper weatherproofing, and grounding
• Experience with sweep, PIM, and fiber testing
• Competent with power and hand tools
• Be willing and physically able to work on tall structures in all types of weather
• Lives in Western Washington
