Midwest CATV, Inc. (MCI) is under new ownership and is growing to be one of Minnesota’s largest tower line and antenna contractors. We specialize in installing line and antenna systems on all types of towers, including guyed and self-supporting monopoles, lattice towers, and guyed masts.

Responsibilities and Expectations:
– Complete assigned tasks within the project scope accurately and efficiently
– Listen to and perform tasks as directed by your Foreman/Manager
– Participate in and carry out installation, repair, modification, optimization, testing and closeout procedures of wireless infrastructures
– Train Tower Technicians using industry standards and safety protocols. (OSHA, ANSI, NWSA, ASME, NEC, etc.)
– A good working knowledge of computer technology and customer software and must be able to take clear and accurate photos efficiently for closeout packages
– You are expected to know “Day 1 s**t” — inspections, inventories, maintenance, housekeeping in trucks and trailers
– Take pride in a punch-free site!
Requirements:
– Supply a portfolio of your work history as part of your interview process
– Minimum of three (3) years of experience
– Posses a valid NWSA Tech I Certification
– Must be able to lift/carry 70lb
– Must have full body mobility: twisting, turning, and working for extended periods on feet
– Have basic math skills, speak, read, and write English
– Have a working knowledge of cell phones and computers, and experience in specialty equipment such as INRITSU, VIAVI, KAELUS
– Ability to work in ALL weather conditions for extended periods of time, you have to be a badass to work in this market
– Pass a Criminal Background Check
– Acceptable Driving Record & a Driver’s License
– Willingness to travel and work nights/weekends when necessary
– Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
– Ability to work out of the state of Minnesota when necessary’
