• Please Note: This position is not with the County of Lambton, it is with our Community Partner, the Municipality of Lambton Shores. This is a contract position for an estimated end date of 2025. *

Position Overview

The Transit Coordinator for the Huron Shores Area Transit service will manage all aspects of providing a local and long distance transit program to Lambton Shores and surrounding areas. The Coordinator will implement and maintain policies, programs, and initiatives for the operation of the transit system including routes, schedules, demand forecasting, marketing, analyze and evaluate transit related activities. The Coordinator will also oversee service contracts, liaise with staff, the community and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has a post-secondary education in public transportation, urban planning, business administration or marketing or related disciplines.

The 2022 salary range for this position is currently set at $68,000 – $85,000.
