City Cable USA is a leader in telecommunications installations. We carry out installation and configuration of the Internet / cable TV / telephone and many other installations for provider companies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Must be available to work weekends as needed.
• Valid driver’s license with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience and a good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs with or without accommodations.
• Ability to carry a 28’ ladder from truck to pole.
• Ability to work in tight spaces such as a crawl space of a house.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have a Van, Truck, or SUV.
• Must be able to purchase essential tools to complete work if needed.

Full Job Description

We’re seeking experienced Contractors for Residential and Commercial cable service installations. This is an independent contractor position. As a contractor you will receive a weekly reverse invoice detailing all of your codes, direct deposit also offered as a convenience. Start: Upon completion of a background check.

• Install, program, and calibrate cable equipment.
• Verify TV, internet, and phone systems for correct functionality.
• Troubleshoot cable wiring, splitter configuration, and cable plant levels.
• Enhance customer experience by delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ensure the quality of each job is performed to company standard.
• Notate installation, service, and repairs.
• Educate customers on all services and equipment installed.

Salary:

Full-time, 1099 (Independent Contractor)

Production is based on pay determined by the amount of work you complete, so what you put in is what you get out of this job opportunity. If you don’t have experience as a cable technician, for the first 1-2 months you can expect 1100$ -1200$/week. Our experienced cable technicians make 1600-1700$/week.
