Job Summary Supports and maintains enterprise level telecommunications system and ensures a consistent, highly available experience for end users.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for supporting, provisioning, and deployment end user equipment within the telecommunications system.
  • Monitors system availability within an enterprise level telephone system. Escalates issues as needed.
  • Utilizes process and procedures to support the telecommunications system.
  • Assists with changes and document control.
  • Maintains current technical knowledge and skills necessary to support the telecommunications system.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • Associates degree in information technology or related field or one (1) year experience in an IT environment.

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

Working Conditions
Special Conditions for Eligibility Applicants for this position must pass a Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) fingerprint-based background check and maintain CJIS eligibility. Due to CJIS requirements related to system access, the following will result in being disqualified for this position: Felony Convictions, Felony Deferred Adjudication, Class A Misdemeanor Conviction, Class B Misdemeanor Convictions in the last 10 years, Class A Misdemeanor Deferred Adjudication, Class B Misdemeanor Deferred Adjudication in the last 10 years, an Open Arrest for Any Criminal Offense (Felony or Misdemeanor), and ALL Family Violence Convictions regardless of class.
