United Tel-Supply is a nationally established network equipment and service provider for those in the communications industry. We offer our customers decades of experience in repair, asset recovery, and certified pre-owned equipment sales. We may be a perfect fit if you have a well-established background in our industry. We need someone that knows our products and can hit the ground running with an established contact base. We want the person that considers their sales career to be ever developing, listening to podcasts and reading materials to further growth. You MUST be high energy, extremely motivated, target driven and portray a positive attitude. An ability to close every new opportunity and develop lasting customer relationships will be key. Your role will include contacting new and established customers, tracking and developing your customer base within our CRM, and creating opportunities that attract new customers. We know that this position will not be a fit for most, but for the right person this is the opportunity of a lifetime.
How will you succeed?
We will provide you with access to products that you can then market to broadband, video, and wireless providers across the country. Our product diversity is what gives our sales force the opportunity for great earning potential. Product education is a must, so we will provide the resources and guidance, but you MUST have a strong background in our industry in order to succeed. This position will not require you to relocate, however you will need to be disciplined and driven in order to be successful as a remote associate. Travel for customer-facing opportunities and tradeshows will also be required, with first year travel requirements estimated at 50%.
Company Location
Our head office is located at 1841 Industrial Ave, San Angelo, TX 76904. We also have a repair center that operates from our Florida location.
Your Schedule
Full-Time, exempt position. Hours generally centered Monday through Friday, though time outside of these parameters may be required to reach set goals. We are not a company focused on hours, instead we are a team focused on results. Meaning, we need someone that can effectively manage their time and understand what it takes to thrive in a sales position. Flexibility with travel required.
Compensation Plan
Base salary dependent on experience, ranging between $20,000 to $30,000. Lucrative incentive plan will also apply and will be discussed during interview process. This position has significant opportunity for financial advancement corresponding with customer base growth. First year base and incentive totals estimated at 50-70k. Long-term potential projections up to 150K annually.
Benefits include PTO, a fully paid Health plan and life insurance policy. Optional but available benefits include 401K, Dental, and Vision insurance. W-2 Employee.
Expected Outcomes
- Builds and maintains company CRM.
- Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs.
- Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.
- Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.
- Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.
- Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.
- Provides periodic territory sales forecasts.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate has:
- Bachelor’s degree AND at least two years of related telecommunication sales experience REQUIRED.
- Strong product knowledge of Calix, AdTran, Cisco and like products REQUIRED.
- Proven interpersonal and customer service skillset.
- Developed sales and negotiation expertise.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times competitive industry.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- HubSpot or CRM software understanding (a plus but not required).
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods.
Ability to type and operate necessary equipment.
Ability to travel.
Ability to lift 15 pounds at times.
