The Operations Director will be responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations of our branch in Calgary. We are searching for a candidate who will strive to attain and maintain a high level of performance and will seek ways to continuously improve processes in order to enhance our quality of service.

Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to
- Lead and mentor the multifunctional Technical and Rigging teams to ensure a successful execution of all operational goals;
- Leading the team into increasing the overall business level of the branch all while supporting it’s policies, goals and objectives ;
- Review financial information and adjust operational budgets to promote profitability;
Here is a preview of your day-to-day:
- Take care of the schedule and the occupation of the teams;
- Allocation of requests for tenders;
- Validate and close the submissions with the PM according to the availability of the TOM;
- Allocation of new projects with explanations to the PM;
- Monitor the progress and profitability of each project;
- Validate project analysis with PM;
- Bridging the gap between civil and technical;
- Support PM if needed (training, monitoring, COP);
- Support Admin if needed;
- Support the Warehouse if needed;
- Guide, inform the site manager of the tasks to be performed daily;
- Help the VP in improving operations;
- Take the extra work of the PM;
- Quality control (deficiency reports).

- As a senior leadership position, it’s required, in addition to the organizational and operational abilities, a keen commercial flair, vision and entrepreneurial ability;
- Have a strong business and commercial acumen;
- Have a great problem solving skills;
- Be highly curious and driven to learn and develop;
- Have an excellent ability to manage multiple projects at once;
- Have strong analytical skills, presentation, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Have a bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Engineering, Technology or privacy-related field;
- Have a minimum of 7 years of experience in a management role for teams working on different projects;
- Have experience in budget management and strategic planning;
- Have excellent Microsoft Excel skills and working knowledge of visualization tools.
