Wireless Technician Telecom

Our telecommunications technicians install, verify, maintain and repair telecommunications equipment associated with the transmission and processing of voice broadcasts, video signals and other data over a variety of media, including optical fibers, microwaves, radio and satellites.

Telecommunications technicians perform the following duties:

• Install, remove and maintain various telecommunications equipment and related systems;
• Inspect and verify the operation of telecommunications equipment;
• Diagnose and locate equipment failures and adjust, replace or repair faulty or damaged telecommunications equipment;
• Inspect and test systems;
• Analyze test results and adjust, modify or repair as needed;
• Establish the nature, cause and location of the failure or malfunction, if any.

Required Skills:

• Mastering installation, testing and commissioning of Ericsson’s equipment
• Have skills for interpersonal communication.
• Have a logical and scientific mind
• Have manual dexterity
• Be autonomous

Required profile:

• Have a valid driver’s license;
• Hold the WAH card

*Hold a professional study diploma in installation and repair of telecommunications equipment would be an advantage.

Salary: $22.00-$32.00 per hour

• telecommunication: 1 year (required)
• ericsson’s equipment: 1 year (preferred)
