R.D Engineering and Construction is now seeking Local San Diego Tower Technician applications. The specific projects we are working on are:
AT&T- LTE 2C, 3C, 4C, 5C Modifications & New Site Builds
VZW- LTE 4Way & AWS 4Way Modifications
Sprint- LTE 2.5 Modifications & New Site Builds
T-Mobile- L700 & L1900 Modifications & New Site Builds
DAS- New Installations and Maintenance
Primary Responsibilities of job:
- Installation of RF components, willing to learn and take direction (COAX, connectors, grounding, supports, weatherproofing, RRU’s, fiber, antennas, TMA’s, diplexers, etc.)
- Assist in Sweep Testing, Fiber Testing & PIM testing.
Requirements
- Must be able to pass a drug screening.
- Must have a valid driver’s license. With a clean record.
- Must be able to work at various heights and have experience climbing (certification a plus)
- Must be able to follow OSHA safety plans and procedures (OSHA 10 certification required)
- CPR/First Aid (certification required)
- RF awareness (certification a plus)
- Must be willing to work overtime, including evening hours if asked.

- Tower Climbing: 1 year (Preferred)

- Tower Climb Certified (Preferred)
