Provides and ensures user system and office automation operations and maintenance through professional systems support. Provides service to end user operations in efficient and effective completion of work orders. Ensures organizational voice communications are efficiently operating and impose no risk to the organization. Ensures that all HIS production operations are completed and do not negatively affect end user operations. Performs and ensures quality and effective installation and operations of value added technologies.

Minimum Requirements

Ability to communicate and provide effective customer service to all Health System entities; Open minded, flexible and receptive attitude in addressing customer system needs and requirements; Cooperative team player with department operations; Two years experience managing voice communication networks and at least one-year experience in support of the Mitel 2000, wireless communications, and peripherals; Manage and reduce all voice grade communications bills with various suppliers; Ability to follow directions related to the installation of hardware and software, cable termination, and the delivery of services to the end user; Microsoft Office applications required for various reports; Associate degree in computer science or telecommunications is preferred or equivalent experience required; Previous hospital experience preferred.

Sensory Requirements:
Visual: close paperwork, VDT used, color vision required, visual monotony; Hearing: conversation, monitoring equipment, telephone, background noise.
