Description:

The Network Ops Specialist is responsible for monitoring all aspects of the Peerless Network. This includes monitoring the network via NMS of: Transport equipment, soft switches, and the IP backbone network. Ops Specialist should be able to handle all aspects of installation including OC#, DS3, T1, and ISUP trunking. Ops Specialist should have basic understanding of SS7 and SIP messaging to understand and help isolate troubles reported from customers. Ops Specialist should be comfortable working directly with external customers in resolving reported troubles and able to work closely with internal departments as need be.
