Reporting to the Director of Solutions Design and Delivery, the incumbent of this position is responsible for the engineering design and integration of Network solutions meeting needs expressed by the client. He will be in charge of preparing the implementations, configurations and providing work instructions for the execution of the changes in the network

Main Responsibilities

Translate solutions design’s elements into configurations lists and work instructions to be used by the technicians performing the changes in the network

Participate in the lab testing in order to prepare adequately his implementations and to better master the technologies used

Participate during the implementations and in the Post implementations when required

Provide support to the technicians performing the changes in the networks

Be available off hours, when required , on a voluntary basis and /or on a rotation schedule with other team members

Prepare testing scenarios for the changes he has in charge

Take in charge end to end solution delivery for some projects (including design, configurations, work instructions ..)

Collect information related to telecommunication needs expressed by the client. Analyze and recommend solutions

Document solutions specifications to help the Operations team in managing the client network

Prepare the transition to allow a handover to the Operations team

Critical qualifications/competencies

Bachelors Degree in Computer Sciences or Engineering with major in Telecommunications or equivalent

Minimum of three (3) years experience in the Telecommunication domain

Solid and practical experience of Cisco Network solutions

Solid and practical experience on switching & routing

Solid experience in configurations and work instructions documentation

Solid experience in Telecom projects delivery

Good capacity to document his deliverables and configurations recopies

Good experience in Load Balancing F5

Solid interest in increasing his knowledge and expertise

Capacity to work on multiple projects at the same time

Autonomy and great aptitude in managing his time and priorities

Experience in the Operations of Security environments will be a solid asset

Good French communication (verbal and written)
