Communication Lineman

We are seeking a Communication Lineman/person for CATV/Fiber construction with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Business.

Required skills and competencies:

• A strong commitment to safety

• Must be able to operate a bucket truck

• Must be skilled at pole climbing

• Must be competent in strand placement & cable lashing

• Load and unload equipment and operate with a cable trailer

• Must be able cut in active (Amplifiers) and passive (Taps/Couplers) equipment

• Must be competent in Amplifier setup with Forward and Return sweep

• Willingness to work in all types of weather

• Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract

• Must provide a clear criminal record check

Primary Work Location: Truro & New Glasgow

Salary: $22.00-$35.00 per hour
