HVAC Technical Sales Engineer – Outside Sales

Betco Ltd. is an HVAC distributor including critical thermal solutions. We distribute CRAC/CRAH, VRF, Mini-Split, Ventilation products and Chillers for residential, commercial and industrial applications.

As the HVAC Technical Sales Engineer for Saskatchewan you will be directly contacting Engineers, Architects, Developers and key customers for all their heating and cooling needs. Focus will be in the Data Centre/Telecom market but we are looking to grow further into commercial/multi-family spaces. The job will rely on both the ability to build relationships in a sales role, as well as the ability to demonstrate technical knowledge in HVAC, controls and electrical systems. This position will coordinate closely with our inside sales and applications/support personnel. This position will direct report to our main office in Manitoba and will require someone who is able to work independently and possess strong time management skills.

Education Requirements: Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in related field or demonstrated ability and experience in a technical sales role for HVAC systems and products. Special consideration for Mechanical Engineers/CET or people with HVAC service/sales backgrounds.

Duties:

• Arrange and perform product information sessions for customers including consulting engineers, hvac contractors, architects, building/property developers and other key customers.
• Provide product application information and support to customers
• Ensure products are specified by engineers before tender packages are released
• Follow project from “cradle to grave” and support customers along the way
• Travel between Saskatchewan’s major city centres to perform duties
• Work with inside sales to process orders and manage projects

• Knowledge of basic refrigerant/air conditioning components and controls

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $60,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
