Position Summary
Coordinate all functions of Horizon’s Fiber To The Premise (FTTP) market deployments. Responsible for overall project timelines, reporting, and coordination for site acquisition, fiber construction, network installation, and other associated functions required to successfully launch a fiber-to-the-premises market.
Essential Job Functions
Manages multiple groups internally and externally, directing the activity and ensuring the quality output of all functions.
Responsible to analyze overall engineering and construction budgets for assigned projects.
Provide overall dashboard visibility into the status of key milestones and other tasks throughout the project lifecycle.
Clearly communicate with customers and internal departments to assure all involved are aware of current status and next step of all assigned projects.
Provide accurate reports for performance, productivity, and general project tracking and update management and customers as directed. Maintain Salesforce database accordingly.
The Project Manager is responsible to fully comply with company and departmental policies and processes.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong project management experience required
Knowledge of fiber-optic construction a plus
Attention to detail and extremely organized are keys
Skill in operating personal computer and various software packages.
Skill in operating various office equipment such as adding machines, copy machines, facsimile machines, and telephone system.
Ability to problem solve.
Ability to communicate with upper management, employees and various business contacts in a courteous and professional manner.
Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical inferences, ratios, proportions, percentages, and fractions to practical situations.
Ability to effectively function as a team player.
Perform duties independently by exercising discretion and sound judgment.
Education and Experience
Vocational Training and/or two-year technical college or equivalent, or equivalent experience.
PMP Certification
Previous outside plant fiber experience preferred

Physical Requirements
Light work. Light work involves lifting no more than 20 pounds at a time with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
