Join a new start-up company in Edmonton, Alberta, to provide innovative digital solutions to industrial clients all over Canada and the US. Implementing new problem-solving technology on multiple platforms, InfoSignal is entering the market with audacious goals to turn the industrial workplace into a digital wonderland. A successful candidate will be working with technology-focused on Remote Confined Space Monitoring, RFID Asset Tracking, Remote Gas Testing, and Access Control.

Responsibilities

• Setup and maintain TCP/IP networks and broadband wireless hardware

• Troubleshooting of hardware and software about our integrated systems

• Work with our clients to ensure they are fully operational and technically supported

• Work with manufacturers’ technical support teams to resolve system issues

• Provide training to new clients in a classroom setting

• Complete detailed and accurate documentation of work performed and as-builts

• Be willing to respond during off-hours for emergency system outages

• Be willing to travel to industrial sites periodically for short periods to provide support to clients during projects

• Represent InfoSignal in a professional, organized, and confident manner

• Perform other ‘start-up company’ tasks as required to support the overall success of the company

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a Service Technician in the telecommunication, security, electronics, instrumentation, or IT industry

• Understanding of the following systems and technologies is an asset: LAN technology and TCP/IP, broadband wireless technology, low voltage electronics, power and communications, intercom systems, CCTV (IP), Access control, and VMS software.

• Post-Secondary training in electronics or equivalent

• Holding a valid driver’s license

• Strong work ethic, honest and loyal, with self-driven and enthusiastic qualities

Salary: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
