Telecom Industry
TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Project coordination/installation in GTA
- Service work as dispatched within GTA
- Installation, termination, testing of copper (Category 5e, Category 6) and fibre optic (MM & SM) cabling
- Troubleshooting of existing cabling infrastructure
- Timely completion of project related paperwork (Site Surveys, Service Dispatch Documentation, Project Updates)
- Company vehicle Maintenance
Required:
- Understanding of industry related floorplans and specification packages
- Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record
- Experience with scissor lifts and boom lifts
- Ability to work at heights
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Conduit (EMT & PVC) installation experience
- Industry manufacturers certifications/training
- Fall arrest training
- Aerial lift certification
- Network Cabling Specialist course (NCS) preferred but not required
- Accountability, adaptability, assertiveness, dependability, initiative, and responsiveness are essential
- Desire and demonstrated ability to continuously learn new technologies and processes.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
Beneficial:

- Aerial lift certification
Technical certifications will be required
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $40,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Overtime
Experience:
- Cabling : 5 years (required)
