OVERVIEW
- The Service Delivery Manager provides direct leadership for the team responsible to deliver company products and services. (Team size: 4)
- Acting as a member of the company’s management team, this position assumes responsibility for running the department in an efficient and profitable manner, maximizing the productivity of processing residential and business orders within the Service Delivery Key Performance Indicators thresholds.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish, maintain and review Service Delivery residential and business metrics/KPI’s (key performance indicators) reports to understand departmental efficiency/productivity and correct any areas of concern.
- Manage all residential and business provisioning orders ensuring they are completed accurately.
- Manage and improve inter-departmental processes including automation between carriers.
- Confirm weekly and monthly departmental reports are accurate.
- Complete On-Net and Off-Net service monthly audits to ensure maximum network efficiency, service quality and cost effectiveness.
- Execute complete carrier service agreements and Carrier Circuit Expiration Audits.
- Training employees and accomplish department results by communicating job expectations; plan, monitor, and appraise job results; coach, counsel, and discipline employees; develop, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
- Establish strategic goals by gathering pertinent provisioning and service information.
- Compose and conduct quarterly and annual employee reviews.
- Manage department Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
QUALIFIED CANDIDATE QUALICATIONS
- 2+ years of experience in telecommunications team lead or management position.
- Rounded experience onboarding facilities-based CLEC voice and data services such as hosted PBX, SIP Trunking, PR, SD-WAN, fiber based internet, DSL, POTS and other similar services.
- Able to demonstrate a drive and appreciation for the importance of change and continuous improvement.
- Strong customer orientation with a demonstrated understanding of superior customer service and delivery techniques.
- Proficiency with the MS Office package.
- Excellent time management, organizational and communications skills.
