• Security/Penetration testing in various markets like Mobile, Fixed and Cable
• Ethical hacking in telecommunications environment
• Finding security vulnerabilities by generating various attack scenarios for target systems
• Development of countermeasures for identified security vulnerabilities
• Development of innovative ideas for umlaut security lab focusing on intelligent and automated attack vectors
• Preparation of results for reporting purpose incl. presentation
• Performing diverse projects in the security area

• University degree or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering or related disciplines
• Minimum 3 to 5 years relevant work experience in telecom or security
• Good knowledge of telecom architecture and services in mobile (2G, 3G, 4G and 5G) and fixed networks
• Good knowledge of service layer on mobile operators like radio interface, backhaul, core and interconnection
• Experience in security testing and developing security concepts
• Experienced with the common security tools, Nessus, Acunetix, nmap, Wireshark, Metasploit
• Knowledge of telecom protocols such as SS7 / SIGTRAN, SIP, RTP, Diameter, GTP and TCP/IP based protocols
• Ability to drive a risk assessment or incident investigation
• Self-dependent and proactive working
• Very good English and communications skills
• Willingness to travel frequently
