Network Admin

CEI’s global telecom client is hiring 3 Network Admins to work directly with customers when turning everything up on circuit orders to help troubleshoot issues in DWF! *Although working remotely to start, CANDIDATES MUST BE LOCAL TO DFW FOR CONSIDERATION*

We’re targeting exceptional communication skills (customer-facing role), experience with BGP, OCS & Subnet protocols, and FortiGate certification/experience would be considered very nice to have!

***This is a W2 Hourly Contract paying $30 – $35/hr + benefits***

Job Description:

• Circuit orders come from sales, go to a different team for info gathering, then onto a configuration team, then the Network Admin is the last one to touch it and will work with customers to turn everything up.
• Sometimes tackling hot cuts and working with live circuits.
• WILL NOT BE pre-configuring boxes anymore since it takes a while to get IP’s.
• Instead they’ll send a remote hand tech out to get connectivity over to the new circuit.
• Handling activations with customers to make sure they are happy, checking bgp/ocs or other protocols.
• Troubleshoot issues with client- any traffic that goes over network, printers, etc.

Skills:

• *Although working remotely to start, CANDIDATES MUST BE LOCAL TO DFW FOR CONSIDERATION*

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
• Experience troubleshooting BGP, OCS & Subnet protocols
• Any Fortinet, FortiGate certification or experience would be considered very nice to have, but not required.
